And, I don't know how I did on the exam. I won't know for another 6 weeks. The Association of Surgical Technologist (AST) board members are revising the exam, and that's why it's going to take longer.

Well, this Yank is in Dixie now I've been here since Sunday. We left on Saturday, but got stuck up around Indianapolis in traffic for like 2 hours. My parents and I decided that once we got past Louisville, we were going to stop for the night. It was 6 o'clock ish, but we were dead tired from sitting in traffic in the heat, and both my dad's driving leg and my driving leg were killing. It seemed like anything that could delay us did on Saturday. Just God's way of protecting us But now, I am safe and sound in 'bama. Hubby had to go to work today, so I have been picking out the clothes that I will need for now. We're staying with his mom for a short time until we can find our own place, and also when either one of us has a job. It's his last day at work. I am taking a week off just to relax and get some unpacking done. Next week, I will be looking for a job, and I'm sure I'll have one very soon. The hospital that his mom works at is so desparate for surg techs that they are allowing them to pick their own schedule. It would be on day shift also, which I love ( I am not a night owl!). Will keep you all updated on how everything goes! HM----------->Lishy |
