Hey everyone!!!!

Goodness, where to start?........ I started clinicals 4 weeks ago. I'm working in surgery from 7-3:30,and even though I'm stinky from sweating, my feet ache like nothing else, and I'm tired at the end of each day, I am LOVING it!!!!! I love the people that I'm working with, doctors, scrubs, nurses, etc. God truly has made each and everyone of us fearfully and wonderfully.  I will graduate in the fall with my Associates Degree as a Surgical Technologist and then take a test to become Certified(just so I'll have one more label letter after my name ).

Mr. Man and I only have one more month until we're married. I thank each and everyone who has prayed and continues to pray for us. We're not sure where we're going to be living. It may be in Alabama, or here in Michigan, or possibly even Texas. I'm praying that he gets a job here while I complete school. I have checked into possibly transferring to a college in Alabama, but I will have a lot more experience under my belt if I stay where I'm at right now. I have to log 320 hours total on each set of clinical rotations. I have to go through a rotation of two. In Alabama, all I would have to log is 160 hours. Big difference, and I'm almost done where I'm at right now.

Wedding plans are going on the right track again. Some things happened, and we had to change the location of the ceremony and reception. It's good though, there's more seating for all at the ceremony and reception  .

Clinicals are going well also. I'm loving surgery more and more each day.  Even though my feet ache at the end of a long, tiring day, I know it's all worth it, because I'm helping someone's life. I've been working in orthopedics the past two weeks, and it's so cool. I do though love general surgery more than anything. I got to spend a week in Labor and Delivery also, and helped do C-sections on 11 babies, 3 sets of twins in one week! The one set of twins were only 24 weeks old. However, they were able to breathe on their own a little bit.

Hello all!

Alrighty, when we left last off, I was an engaged woman, but now I am a married one. Last Saturday, June 14th was the wedding- and it was great! I just don't feel old enough to be called Mrs.!!!!!! Mr. Man had to go back to Alabama though yesterday, and I'll be up here in Michigan for another 9 weeks finishing clinicals up. We're not sure where we're going to live yet, but I'm very positive that hubby wants to live up here. Could you all please pray that a job would open up for him somewhere in the state?

Ok, so, yeah. I've had what, 3 quarters now of school, and haven't had any time to be on here, or on my computer at all. Well, now I do! Go figure! I'm only taking 13 credits this quarter, and will finish up this fall with 9. For the first 3 quarters, I've taken 18 credits. I guess I was just so busy, and now I'm just so bored!!!!!!!
