http://koti.phnet.fi/elohim/jehovaswitnessesAre the doctrines of the Watchtower society and Jehovah's witnesses really as correct as they believe or is this only an incorrect view? On the coming lines we will try to search for an answer to this question, to which also the powerful heading refers to. If you yourself are a Jehovah's witness, it is worth your while to examine and consider these in the light of the next chapters.

Mark 7:14 they seem to disagree with this, even though it's in the bible. ie blood transfusions.

I used to be a Jehovah's Witness and some things I remember them telling me is that the cross was just a pole (no cross bar), the church steeple is a pagan symbol for worship of the sex organs, the reason they don't celebrate Christmas is because it is really a pagan holiday, the gift of tongues is satanic, it is wrong to join the armed forces, there is no hell, literally 144,000 people will go to heaven, the rest will live in paradise on earth, all the spirits of the dead are unconscious, and will become conscious again at the end, and more!

Dear PetriFB; God bless you. As always I enjoy your contributions. I was reading your link to Jari's page and in the FOREWARD it asks; But are the doctrines of the Watchtower society and Jehovah's witnesses really as correct as they believe or is this only an incorrect view? I read the Watchtower and Awake on public transportation and has informative information about their beliefs of God and Jesus Christ. There is much information. I also shared the bible with a JW co worker during lunches about 11 years ago. Many JWs are dedicated to their training and have to admit they are diligent to go out and witness. The bottom line is they don't believe Jesus Christ and God are one. A few months ago a man about my age approached me at a train station and we had a pleasant exchange. He introduced his belief of God and we both agreed Jesus Christ is the son of God. But when I told him I believe Jesus Christ and God are one, he replied, "how can Jesus and God be the same as one?" In my experience with JWs I don't totally understand their whole doctrine reading. Its alot of stuff and admit many are knowledgable from their studies. But I did learn that their bottom line is Jesus Christ role is totally seperate from God and are not as one My mistake? I came on strong with this JW brother and wished I could take back my strong stand because if I am so confident that God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are one, lets just say I would have spoken with a firmness sprinkled with LOVE. Instead, he walked off with an impression of a defensive Christian. Its about sharing the Good News (Jesus Christ) and what we believe (TRUTH) but its not about convincing non believers but allowing the Holy Spirit to move within their souls. As far as blood transfusions and what JWs believe, my view is for example, I have a responsibility to help fight for my wife's health. If it will save my wife God does not uphold me to any law but sees my heart that a blood transfusion is not of any sinful intent. I hope one day, PetriFB, that I can meet a JW face to face and still speak to them holding firm to my faith in LOVE as I strive to with all my brothers and sisters, and ( rap music lol! )Your servant in Christ Jesus.

there is no hell, literally 144,000 people will go to heaven, the rest will live in paradise on earth, all the spirits of the dead are unconscious, and will become conscious again at the end Let us all remember that most JWS want an intimate relationship with Almighty God, and genuinely believe the watchtower society (governing body of the Jehovah Witness Organization) is God's "faithful and true servant". The watchtower is their interpreter of scripture and ONLY through the "organization" does God find "favor" with mankind. They have given into the deceptions of the watchtower ( proven false prophets http://www.probe.org/content/view/723/65/ ) and have indeed been deceived into believing they have "accurate knowledge" and all the millions of born again Christians on earth are deceived. Through the watchtower they are constantly bombarded with lies regarding "bornagains" and we are seen as infidels and that we are the "false prophets" Ironic really, and Very sad. The really sad part is that the souls of all who fail to believe that Jesus was raised from the dead (literally) will be raised "at the end", not to spend eternity in paradise on earth ( for it will be gone), but to judgement (and the second death) The watchtower's deceptions are cunning. They take a little bit of truth and twist it into a great big lie. I have wanted to share my experience (you would not believe the extent i have gone to in attempt to understand where they are coming from) and I can banter at length on each of the doctrines of the watchtower society, but the bottom line is not that of the issue of the trinity, but of the Watchtower playing god. The individual souls of the ones that come into our lives should be our focus. And we should NEVER be ashamed of the Gospel of Christ for it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes. I have another story i need to tell ( I met Pastor T's Pastor yesterday and I have an amazing story to tell) but as the Holy Spirit Leads I do wish to get back to this thread. and redemption through God's Mighty hands and OUTSTRETCHED arms! "his love endures forever" (that is not only a song, BUT SCRIPTURE!!) but for now let us remember 1 John 3:11 "this is the message you have heard from the beginning, WE SHOULD LOVE ONE ANOTHER

on this theme, a friend of mine who introduced me to Christian chatrooms has now become engaged to a christian scientist. These people see that they are true Christians and I tried sharing my concerns to the person but they got defensive and so I had to back off, show them in love, do research, offer help if they needed it and to pray for them to remain in truth.
Having seen how people reacted to when Mormon threads were typed on the boards, I wanted to show my friend that I am happy for them, that I have issues with the doctine, but that God had to convict them and while offering assistance had to leave it with God.
God bless
