Dear BornagainI have Music Media loaded but cannot get any sound. It linked me to MSN but thank you very much, forget it! All they do is give me a bunch of mumbo jumbo and do not really resolve my issue. If I uninstall Music Media it will interrupt other programs like Yahoo, etc.. Should I go ahead and uninstall anyway, then download it again? I wanted to go public with this Help Desk in case someone else on Earth is having the same problem. Thank you, Paul. Your servant in Christ Jesus. b

I'm so lost, no really lost, no actually so lost I can't find my way back! Sorry not sure what you mean or where your going lol! If your talking about windows media, just download the latest version (windows media 11) this then will install straight over your current version. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/default.aspx <<<<<download from there.

Also Bob, if you decide to uninstall (but Paul is right about upgrading), it does not afffect any other program ..just the one you took out. Have you checked in the control panel for your sounds and audio device, to see if your audio is muted? Just a thought.

Dear Bornagain and Shae;Yes I did. I am baffled because 99% of the time I receive audio messages from across the miles when ministering, playing my cds or listening to a link that someone sends me. My Symantec Antinorton always monitors these against any threats and so far have not been attacked. From what you shared with me I will take a step of faith and uninstall Windows Media (sorry Paul, lol!) and reinstall along with the upgrade. If all fails then I can take it into the pc shop (they are great) around the corner of thy house. Thank you. Your servant in Christ Jesus. b

Ok. I took your advice and it worked. lol! It was pretty easy and now can play my cds and download music. Our praise team has a site/blog that gives me the set plus music to review and prepare for each Sunday. Thank you for your help! Your servant in Christ Jesus. b
